XLPE insulated steel tape armored PVC sheathed low-voltage power cable is a mainstream, cost-effective and highly reliable power transmission product specially developed for civil and industrial low-voltage power distribution systems. Adopting high-quality cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) as the core insulating material, steel tape as the mechanical armor layer and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) as the outer protective sheath, the cable integrates excellent electrical insulation performance, strong mechanical compression and impact resistance, outstanding aging resistance and stable environmental adaptability. Operating Characteristics: The product has clear and standardized operating and laying technical indicators to ensure safe and stable long-term operation. The maximum long-term allowable working temperature of the cable conductor shall not exceed 70℃, which adapts to the continuous load operation of conventional low-voltage power distribution lines and avoids insulation aging and performance degradation caused by long-term overheating. Under short-circuit fault conditions with a maximum duration of no more than 5 seconds, the maximum instantaneous temperature of the cable conductor shall not exceed 160℃. This excellent short-term heat resistance effectively prevents insulation breakdown and cable burnout caused by instantaneous short-circuit current, improving the fault tolerance and operation safety of the circuit system.

The ambient temperature for cable laying shall not be lower than 0℃, which avoids the embrittlement and cracking of PVC sheath and XLPE insulation caused by low temperature during construction. The cable has no drop height limitation during laying, featuring strong construction adaptability and simple operation. In addition, the product has the advantages of simple daily maintenance and low later-stage operation cost. In terms of bending construction standards, different structural cables have standardized minimum bending radius requirements: the minimum bending radius of conventional cables is no less than 10 times the cable outer diameter; armored cables need to reach 12 times the outer diameter to protect the internal steel tape armor from deformation and damage; five-core cables with complex structural layout have a stricter standard of 15 times the outer diameter, ensuring that the internal conductor and insulation structure will not be damaged during bending and laying.
